Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software. Perform detailed calculations to
compute and establish key system specifications. Apply principles of electrical theory to
engineering projects. Develop software to control electrical systems. Direct testing activities for
electronic products to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer
requirements. Compile data and write reports regarding existing electrical engineering projects.
Operate mobile robots, Electronics Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs, sorting systems for
various machines, automated processing systems, robotic arms, Network, Switches, Power
Over Ethenet (POE) injectors, Electronic Control Units (ECUs), Input/Output Controller Devices
etc. Use controller firmware to communicate with sensors and motor drivers through CAN
protocol Develop algorithms for detection of rows using 3D depth camera in Python
programming language. Design electrical systems for sorting systems, schematics and board
layout for various electronic components in OrCAD and Altium Designer; assemble initial
prototypes through SMD soldering and perform functionality tests on these devices using
electronics lab tool; develop electrical system for an automated fish processing machine.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required. 40 hrs/week.
